Grey County is taking care of business with its newest website www.madeingrey.ca.
The new website promotes economic growth by providing entrepreneurs and investors with the information, resources and incentives they need to start, grow, expand or relocate a business in Grey County.
The website has many new features. A new inventory of key available lands and buildings makes it easy to see what is available in each community. Detailed community profiles share important demographic and geographic information that is useful for businesses looking to hire employees, or sell products. Other new features include investment opportunities, insightful maps and applications, a living business directory and much more.
MadeInGrey.ca is also the new online home of the Business Enterprise Centre, a valuable resource for small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs in our area. The Business Enterprise Centre provides a range of services, such as free consultations, workshops, networking events and incentive programs.
Economic development works best when municipalities and agencies collaborate. With MadeInGrey.ca it’s easier than ever to connect with staff at the county or local level to ask questions and learn about opportunities in our communities. The website also connects visitors with other support staff from partnering organizations such as the Four County Labour Market Planning Board, Saugeen Economic Development Corporation, Georgian College, Bruce Community Futures Development Corporation and more.
MadeInGrey.ca was developed in-house over the past six months with consultation from the Grey County Economic Development Advisory Committee and local economic development officers. The site is fully responsive for mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.
